I'm the Sales Manager for Sandiway Ales, Cheshire and also run record fairs & other events - see MacMarkets page.

I've been selling beer for a long time - in a roundabout way as a DJ since 1971(see Soul-Disco.com page), more directly as a licensee since 1988, and for breweries since 2005.

I've also worked in wholesale fruit & veg, managed supermarkets & boutiques and driven taxis.

 

I'm married to Di, our family includes "Peebles" a large nutty crossbreed hound who we love to take walking in the lakes/dales etc or else stick him in the kennels and bugger off to Greece!

I've been into soul music since my ears started working and was a regular at Wigan Casino Allnighters and at Blackpool Mecca's Highland Room alongside the local soul gigs in Burscough & Ormskirk area.

 

I'm a real ale man - my locals are the Anvil, Doc's Symposium & Bar Central, all in Wigan and the brewery I work for is based at Blakemere Village, just outside of Northwich (more about this later)
